Turkcell’s T11 and T20 phones, along with the BlackBerry Bold 9900, are compatible with Turkcell’s Cep-T Cüzdan mobile wallet, which enables contactless mobile payments, ticketing, loyalty, ID and, most recently, road toll payments.

Yubico has announced the launch of YubiKey NEO, an NFC-enabled version of its YubiKey USB authentication token for single tap mobile security.

The device, which fits on a keychain and includes NFC contactless technology as well as a USB interface, can be read by an NFC-enabled smart phone or tablet straight out of the box to deliver a securely encrypted one-time password (OTP).

Digital communications agency Isobar and mobile operator O2 have teamed up to host a London event aimed at driving the development of new NFC applications.

“Isobar Create London” will offer developers from around the UK the opportunity to create their own NFC apps and win a kick-starter development fund plus marketing support from O2’s global development platform, BlueVia, to help successfully launch their idea to market.
